Lahore: (       ) On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi, Chief of Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan, paid tribute to all journalists who remain unafraid of pressure or oppression in their pursuit of truth and the dissemination of facts. He said journalism is a sacred trust, and those journalists who stand with the oppressed through their pen, camera, and voice are the true heroes of society.

Hafiz Saad Rizvi, while mentioning the hundreds of journalists martyred in Palestine, stated that these journalists who have been targeted by the oppressive Zionist regime are in fact symbols of humanity, freedom, and truth. He emphasized that there is no greater weapon than a pen or camera that stands with the oppressed. He also added that Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan fully believes in the freedom of the press, but journalism that hides the truth, empowers falsehood, and silences the voice of the oppressed has nothing to do with either freedom or integrity. Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan salutes all such courageous journalists who are sacrificing their lives for showing the truth, are imprisoned, or have not stepped back from their mission despite ongoing pressure.
